The problem is that in order to make it more palatable, a lot of sugar is added, most granola actually have a higher ratio of sugar than coke.

What you may not realize, is that a number of fast foods are very high in sugar.

Pizza tends to be the main culprit; but your average fast food meal is usually extremely high in sugar.

It also has far fewer nutrients than the full fat versions and this is usually the case with most low fat versions of foods.

Sports drinks have actually been designed to hydrate and fuel trained athletes during periods of prolonged and intense periods of exercise.

Due to this they contain high amounts of added sugars, so they can be swiftly absorbed for energy.

Your average bottle contains approximately 32g, so slightly more than your average can of coke.
