As you can see testosterone and health are linked in multiple way and the symptoms and illnesses associated with low testosterone levels are multiple, range from physical to mental and in some cases are potentially fatal! If, you’re suffering from more than one of these I’d advise you look in to getting your testosterone levels tested.
You can speak to your doctor or GP about believing you have low testosterone levels but the issue is that this is often misdiagnosed & in many cases your levels have to be severely low for them to consider doing anything about this.
Ideally you want to catch the problem before it gets too severe, so you have a couple of options. If you are suffering from a couple of the less severe symptoms for example reduced muscle mass, increased body fat & decreased libido, you could consider just taking steps to increase production. For example, you can take a look at my article on foods that boost testosterone production & foods that lower testosterone
The other option is you can invest in a home testing kit, these are accurate, fairly inexpensive and easy to use/ collect the results. Most companies offer a service where the kit is delivered to your home, you complete the test and post them and then your results are made securely available online, you the whole process only takes a few days and there are a few organizations out there that offer this. I will be providing a review of the multiple services available so keep an eye out for that!
