Six Star Testosterone booster is one of the most popular testosterone booster supplements on Amazon. It has hundreds of reviews (probably in excess of 1000) on Amazon & is probably one of the best known testosterone booster supplements on the market.
So we are going to take a look at the following:
So you have an understanding of whether you should consider purchasing Six Star testosterone booster or consider an alternative brand.
I thought I’d cut to the chase somewhat & save time for those of you looking for a definitive answer one way or another. I don’t recommend six Star Testosterone Booster & that is for a few key reasons.
The first is that it doesn’t provide you with the nutrients that the majority of men lack, which in the majority of cases actually leads to low testosterone. So nutrients like:
The list goes on, the six star testosterone booster only contains 3 ingredients which are Rhodiola, Gingko & Boron. While boron is one of the key nutrients I was referring to, in terms of being deficient/ low can lead to low testosterone production.
The volume of boron that six star testosterone booster provides, is actually lower than the amount clinically proven to boost testosterone production. Six star provide you with 5mg of active boron, whereas in reality, you need close to 7 – 10mg to positively impact testosterone production.
The final thing is that Rhodiola has little to no direct link to increased testosterone production & Gingko only has minimal connection & evidence that it MAY help boost testosterone production. What I will say is that six star testosterone booster is very cheap, but even that doesn’t make up for the product being sub par in my opinion.
I’m not saying that it’s a scam, as at least they are up front about the ingredients unlike a good deal of testosterone booster supplement brands & ingredients like Rhodiola may have indirect links to increased testosterone by lowering cortisol, but what I am saying is, that if you are looking for an effective testosterone boosting supplement & something that can noticeably increase T levels, you need to look elsewhere!

So now you know what my official thoughts are, lets take a look at a bit more info about Six Star Testosterone booster, if any of you are still considering it.
Who Manufactures Six Star Testosterone Booster
Six Star Pro Nutrition is the organisation the six star testosterone booster. They have been in the industry for a while now, offering a pretty wide range of supplements, including proteins, pre workouts & obviously testosterone booster supplements. They also have several athletes as brand ambassadors, what you aren’t really able to find out is much about the companies’ history (at least not on their website).
One thing that is very clear, is that al the Six Star Pro Nutrition ingredients are very “reasonably” priced. Although I question the effectiveness of the ingredients used! This actually brings us on nicely to look at the ingredients in the Six Star Testosterone Booster, in some more depth.
Rhodiola is an adaptogenic herb, which helps you to combat stress, improve energy levels and enhance mood. Stress and the stress hormone cortisol is connected with testosterone production. When cortisol levels are spiked, testosterone production is inhibited. So in theory lowering cortisol with Rhodiola could indirectly boost testosterone production.
The issue is that there is no evidence directly linking Rhodiola to increased testosterone production, so all we have is the speculation that it may effectively boost testosterone production due to lowering your cortisol levels.
Ginkgo Bilboa is primarily a nootropic supplement, with the intended advantage of enhancing mental performance, primarily by boosting the blood flow to the brain. As far as testosterone production goes, the evidence is pretty thin.
There has been a study, which involved diabetic rats. These rats suffered from inhibited testosterone production due to type 2 diabetes. These rats supplementing with Ginkgo Bilboa extract lowered this inhibition & they saw an increase in their leydig cells. Leydig cells are responsible for the signalling for testosterone to be produced in the testes. in their testes, which led to higher levels of Luteinizing Hormone and testosterone.
There has also been a human study, this however showed that after 14 days of supplementing with Ginkgo, mens sex hormone levels, including testosterone showed no difference. This is why I say the evidence is thin & I don’t rate Gingko Bilboa extract as a supplement that aids testosterone production, at least for humans anyway!
Boron is an excellent addition to any testosterone booster supplement, this is due to it being a trace mineral that most people lack in their diet. It becomes even more important as realistically, you need 7mg – 10mg daily to aid testosterone production & it is near enough impossible to get that volume with a sensible diet.
As I mentioned earlier, the Six Star Testosterone booster only provides you with 5mg, so even in that regard it falls short for me to recommend it as a testosterone booster supplement you should be using!
If you’re looking for an effective testosterone booster supplement, then I’m afraid I can’t recommend Six Star Testosterone Booster. I wouldn’t go so far to say that it’s a rip off but as a testosterone booster supplement, it certainly falls far off the mark!
It’s extremely cheap but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for & if you want a brand that is actually effective. You will need to spend a bit more money. Once again, I suggest you check out my recommend brands of testosterone booster supplements below.
