“How can mouthwash be a testosterone booster”, is likely the initial question you had when reading the title of this article.
To clarify, while certain mouthwash brands can’t be a direct testosterone booster. You can gain a natural testosterone booster by selecting mouthwash brands made without toxic chemicals that lower your testosterone production. That is what this article is about, the brands that I recommend that are made without these toxic chemicals, for a natural testosterone booster.

Ingredients
When it comes Sarakan being a mouthwash brand that provides a testosterone booster, the ingredients that it doesn’t include are actually more important than ones that it does. Their product is free of the following ingredients that both lower testosterone and negatively impact your health in other ways:
- Parabens
- Alcohol
- Fluoride
- SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate)
Sarakan contains natural extract of Salvadora persica, this is known as the toothbrush tree, it fights plaque and tartar. The mouthwash is vegan and is unsweetened which is a bonus, it is also flavored with oil of peppermint, clove and geranium.
The reason it doesn’t quite get full marks is it has some mint flavouring which can potentially be a bit estrogenic. Another thing is, there isn’t much in the way of natural teeth whitening ingredients. That’s a personal preference of mine; but for me, it’s the only area that this product doesn’t really cover.
Price
In terms of mouthwash brands that are free of alcohol and toxic chemicals. This is one of the lowest cost ones available; and especially if you take advantage of the multi pack deals on Amazon.
The other thing that you need to consider is that most competing brands are free of just fluoride, as supposed to free of the multiple toxic chemicals that Sarakan is. Sarakan represents greater value for money, as it’s free from multiple toxic chemicals including ones that lower T for a natural testosterone booster. This why I’ve given it 5/5.
Effectiveness
I’ve been using this mouthwash frequently over the past couple of years, after use my breath is fresh which is the main thing. My mouth as a whole feels clean and since I’ve been using it my gum health has improved.
If you purchase this from Amazon (I suggest you do) you can see that the product has excellent reviews.The only reason this hasn’t got full marks, is that it hasn’t helped make my teeth whiter (my teeth haven’t got any darker either). The reason this had led to scoring down is, I feel some other mouthwash brands (albeit they are not as effective in other areas) have greater teeth whitening ability.
Flavour
For me the flavour is fairly pleasant, there is minimal mint and the less mint the better, as mint is estrogenic. It isn’t bitter and it doesn’t make your mouth burn, so you are able to comfortably rinse around your mouth for the necessary amount of time.

Ingredients
Much the same as with the Sarakan mouthwash, ESI Aloe Fresh provides a testosterone booster due to the ingredients that it doesn’t contain. ESI Aloe Fresh is free of the following toxic ingredients that lower testosterone and negatively impact your broader health:
- Fluorine/ Fluoride
- Parabens
- SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate)
It contains Propolis and xylitol which help prevent bacterial proliferation and keeps your breath fresh. It contains Aloe vera which is a natural soother and is flavored with sage, pineapple and mint. The reason the ingredients don’t get full marks is in part due to the mint flavouring. As we covered previously mint is very estrogenic and the mint flavouring in this product is very strong.
It also contains alcohol, while alcohol alone isn’t the biggest issue it can negatively impact your T levels and isn’t ideal for your wider health. The final thing is that none of the ingredients are designed to help with whitening. The ingredients are far better than most products in the market, when considering both testosterone production and your wider health.
Price
In terms of mouthwash brands that are free of toxic chemicals, this is one of the better priced ones. Another thing that needs to be taken in to account is that most competitive brands are just free of fluoride. So ESI Aloe represents greater value for money in terms of being free from these toxic chemicals that lower testosterone.
Effectiveness
I’ve used this mouthwash a few times over the past couple of years. The same as with Sarkan after use my breath is fresh & my whole mouth feels fresh and clean.
If you purchase this from Amazon (And I suggest you do) you can see that the product has good reviews. The only reason this hasn’t got full marks, is the same as with Sarakan it doesn’t aid with teeth whitening. Again my teeth aren’t less white as a result of use but they’re not any whiter either. For me this is also an area I would ideally like to see improvement in, hence the slight mark down.
Flavour
I’m personally quite a big fan of the flavour, the only downside as we covered is the mint due to it being estrogenic. It is naturally sweet tasting , isn’t bitter and it doesn’t leave a “burning sensation”, so you are able to comfortably rinse around your mouth without discomfort. For me the key reason it doesn’t get full marks, is the mint flavoring that has been added.
