My Top 2 Vitamin B3 Testosterone Boosting Supplements

Getting Enough Vitamin B3 Is Effective For Testosterone Boosting

Learn Why & Check Out The Vitamin B3 Brands That That I Recommend Here

Pile of supplements

There are a multitude of  B vitamins, with most being a testosterone booster to some extent. There are however four key versions of vitamin B when it comes to testosterone production.

These are also four of the vitamins that people are quite often deficient in. The four I’m referring to are:

  • Vitamin B3/ Niacin
  • Vitamin B6/ Pyridoxine
  • Vitamin B9/ Folic Acid/ Folate
  • Vitamin B12/ Cobalamin

These are the four B vitamins that I advise people consider supplements that I advise people consider supplementing with. Especially if testosterone boosting is the end goal. You can find out more about these B Vitamins as a whole and why they are a natural Testosterone booster in the below article.

Ways To Increase Testosterone Production Naturally – Get Enough Vitamin B Article

We’re going to look at Vitamin B3 specifically and what I view to be the best Vitamin B3 supplements available across a range of factors.

Why Vitamin B3 Is One Of Top Rated Testosterone Boosting Supplements

  • Aids with muscle mass gain
  • Aids with fat loss
  • Helps increase HDL cholesterol

While the above makes Niacin an effective testosterone supplement. I imagine you can see other ways the above will help with your wider health and fitness. Including athletic pursuits, improving cardiovascular fitness and heart health.

How Much Do You Need & How Frequently

Vitamin B3 needs to be taken daily as your body isn’t able to store it. The current recommended daily amount for men is 16 mg and for women is 14 mg, I would however suggest that is on the low side & more is needed.

The main food sources of Niacin are poultry, so if you have a non meat diet or even just one low in poultry it’s likely you’re going to be deficient. Even if you do eat poultry, there is a still a reasonable chance you aren’t getting enough daily & that is where supplements come in to play.

You don’t need to worry about getting too much Niacin, as you only see serious side effects when your intake is around 2000 mg. This is way, way more than what any supplement will provide you with & even when including food intake you’ll be way below this number.

So now you know how Vitamin B3/ Niacin is a natural testosterone booster and the volume that you need daily. We’re going to look at my top rated brands, for different global locations.

The Tudimo nutrition product is a capsule which you put in to your drink, this then disintegrates and you stir the powder. The capsule itself falls apart within the first 10 minutes after swallowing.

Great post with some great reviews. I have literally just bought some Testerone boosters today from my local vitamin shop. But when I need some more I will be sure to try out one of your recommendations and using the information provided. I’m UK based too which is helpful.

    1. Nate Stone says:

      Hey Lee,

I’m glad you found it useful!

Yeah some testosterone boosting supplements are good; but a lot have ingredients which you tend to get enough of in your diet; or aren’t necessarily proven to increase testosterone. If you know what you lack in your diet, supplementing with those things specifically is far better way to go. There are a couple of different testosterone boosting supplements that are very good and have top notch ingredients, I’ll be putting a review together for these a well, so keep eye out for that to!

      Hey Flo,

I’m glad you found it useful, if you have any questions, just let me know!

  3. John says:

I like the fact that the vitamin b3 will help increase HDL cholesterol, this would be the feature that would be best for me.
What are the side effects of too much vitamin b3, just for my information.

    1. Nate Stone says:

      Hey John,

I’m glad you found this article useful, yep increasing your HDL cholesterol is good for you health as a whole and is certainly assists with testosterone boosting.

It’s pretty difficult to overdose on Vitamin B3 unless your overdosing with supplements. If you do side effects tend to be nausea, facial flushing & mild itchiness.

  4. Cathy says:

This is a very helpful article. Thanks for posting! What about standard B Complex pills? Do you believe they contain the right amount of B3? We’ve been taking Nature’s Bounty.

    1. Nate Stone says:

      Hey Cathy,

I’m familiar with Natures Bounty, with B complex I’m usually a little cautions as to whether there is enough of each B vitamin you need. I’d suggest You check the volumes against RDA’s for each version B vitamins.

  5. Jessie says:

Hey thanks for the informative blog! I actually never knew that Vitamin B was good for boosting testosterone. I knew that Vitamin B helped with energy, and it’s in all the Pre-workout suppliments I take, typically. Thank you!

    1. Nate Stone says:

      Hey Jessie,

Yeah B vitamins are needed for healthy testosterone production, I must admit it is mainly vegans/ vegetarians that are usually severely lacking in B3 & as a result I recommend these supplements for the testosterone boosting effects.

Most meat eaters, just need to up their intake a bit more & make sure they are getting enough products that are high in B vitamins.

  6. Bob says:

    Hi Nate,

Good information on dosages and the best supplements for boosting B3 testosterone. Do you recommend the same dosages for young people vs senior citizens (those over 60)?

    1. Nate Stone says:

      Hey Bob,

      Glad you found It useful!

Yeah as an adult male about 16mg per day would be right you for testosterone boosting and getting enough B3 for the other health benefits as well!

  7. Joonas says:

    Hi Nate,

Great article with information about vitamin B3 and related supplements.

I personally don’t like to have a huge amount of different pills and powders, and then I would have to take 10 different supplements every day. I would rather have only a few good ones, even if they are more expensive.

Now, vitamin B is just one important component in increasing testosterone and being healthy. Do you know if there is a product that would include a proper amount of all 3 types of vitamin B that you mentioned here? Or even better, a multivitamin or other kind of supplement that would include all vitamin B + other important vitamins/nutrients?

    1. Nate Stone says:

      Hey Joonas,

You aren’t alone about not wanting to have a multitude of supplements that you potentially need to take!

There are only a handful of testosterone boosting supplements that I would recommend. One is Testogen, it provides vitamin B6 and a number of other testosterone boosting properties in the right concentrations too impact T production (not all testosterone boosting supplements have adequate concentrations).

A multivitamin I can recommend is Nu U Nutrition B Vitamin ComplexNu U Nutrition B Vitamin ComplexNu U Nutrition B Vitamin Complex. Again this has the right concentrations to impact your testosterone production & other the other functions B vitamins are needed for in the body!
